During this three-day conference, plenary speakers and workshop leaders from across North America will take provocative approaches to:

  • ascertaining FASD from the clinical and basic principles in brain development;
  • discussing evidence-based interventions to ameliorate or prevent the disorder;
  • and discussing the legal, educational, and prevention challenges that are part of the complexities associated with FASD.

Target Audience

The target audience for this conference includes clinicians, educators, researchers, and policy makers working in the field of FASD and children’s mental health.

Registration
The early bird registration fee is $375 CAD until the 17th of February 2012, and $450 CAD for registrations postmarked after this date. For full-time students, residents and interns, the early bird rate is $120 CAD, and $135 CAD for registrations postmarked after 17th of February 2012.

The conference registration does not include workshop fees ($55 CAD per workshop). The one-day registration fee is $150 CAD until the 17th of February 2012. Full registration fee is required if booking more than one day. All registrations must be prepaid and please make your cheque payable to “The Banff Centre”.
