KT in Educational Settings
NeuroDevNet and the Autism Research Training (ART) Program joined to develop the first Biennial ART-NeuroDevNet Winter Institute, an exciting new trainee research and education workshop. The Winter Institute was held March 2-6, 2011 in Banff, Alberta.
The following document entitled "Knowledge Translation in Educational Settings" is the result of a small group discussion forum that took place at the Winter Institute. It outlines discussions of the current status of knowledge translation in an education setting, the barriers researchers and educators face in knowledge translation, and the current and future needs that should be addressed for effective knowledge translation.

NeuroDevNet is funded by the
Networks of Centres of Excellence,
a program of the federal government
to advance science and technology.
