New Developmental Medicine & Child Neurology stem cell podcast features NeuroDevNet researchers
NeuroDevNet Associate Scientific Director Dr. Michael Fehlings and his post-doctoral co-authors Drs. Crystal Ruff and Stuart D. Faulkner discuss their paper, "The potential for stem cell therapies to have an impact on cerebral palsy: opportunities and limitations" in a podcast produced by the journal Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology.
The podcast focuses on an article that appeared in the August edition of the journal, hosted by Dr. Peter Baxter, co-editor of the Wiley publication, with discussant Volney L. Sheen, M.D., Ph.D. Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard University.
"This was an invited submission based on the MacKeith Award I received from the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Cerebral Palsy for outstanding basic science contributions to the field of cerebral palsy," says Dr. Fehlings. "The role of NeuroDevNet is mentioned in our discussion."
The podcast and links are also available within the Resources section of the NeuroDevNet website, under Cerebral Palsy resources/Stem Cell Treatments for CP.
